About Stool Log
Stool Log was made by a family, for our own son. We hope it helps yours too.
Why we made Stool Log
Our son has eczema, and along with it came constipation. We wanted an easy way to keep track of how often he went, what he ate and how he felt, so we could spot what helped and show his doctor a clear record. So we made Stool Log.
What we believe
- A diary, not a diagnosis. Stool Log shows what you logged. It never tells you what's wrong or what to take: that's for you and your doctor.
- Private by default. No account and no sign-up. Your diary stays on your devices and in your own private iCloud. We never see it.
- Fast to use. A diary only helps if you keep it, so logging takes one tap, from a widget, the Lock Screen or your wrist.
- Free where it counts. Logging, widgets, Apple Watch, possible links and a 14-day doctor report are free. Stool Log Plus adds more for people who want it.
- Plain words. Sentence case, no jargon, no scores, in English and 47 more languages.
How the app handles your data
Your logs are stored on your iPhone and synced through your private iCloud between your own devices. We use anonymous counts of which features get used, such as opening the report, so we know what to improve. Never what you log. You can turn that off in Settings. The privacy policy has every detail.
