A diary for your child or a parent
Many people keep a diary for someone else: a child with constipation, or a parent after an illness. Stool Log keeps each person's diary apart, with its own report.
How it works
Tap the name at the top of Today ("Me" at first), then Add a person. Give them a name and an icon. Each person has their own:
- Today, Calendar and Insights
- Doctor report, with their name at the top
- Daily goals, medicines and reminders
- Details such as year of birth, and period tracking if it applies
The person chosen at the top of Today is who you log for, in the app, the widgets and on Apple Watch. Switch with one tap.
For parents
Children rarely remember when they last went, and parents only see some of it. A widget for your child's diary makes a log one tap after each poop. Accidents, straining and pain go in the same log, which is what a doctor will ask about. Our guide to keeping a poop diary for your child has more.
We made Stool Log for our own son, who has eczema and constipation, so we could show his doctor a clear record. See our story.
For carers
Keep an older parent's diary alongside your own, with their medicines and reminders, and bring their report to appointments.
On someone else's phone
The diary lives on your phone and syncs between your own devices through your iCloud. It can't yet be shared to another person's phone, so one phone keeps the diary, and the report or CSV file is the way to share it.
Keep their diary on your phone
Add a person from the name at the top of Today. Each one gets their own diary and report.
