Log from your Home Screen in one tap
The hardest part of keeping a diary is remembering. Stool Log's widgets put logging on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, so one tap after you go is all it takes.
Log without opening the app
These widgets save in place, then show "Saved" with Undo and Add details for two minutes:
- Stool: all seven Bristol types in a row. Tap the one that matches.
- Symptom: your usual symptoms. Tap one, then mild, moderate or severe.
- Food: the foods you log most.
- Quick log: stool types, symptoms, foods, a glass of water and your next medicine in one large widget.
- Water: your glasses against your goal, with +1 glass.
- Medicines: today's doses with Taken.
- Goals: today's daily goals, with + to log water, a cup or a meal.
- Toilet timer: start it, then tap when you're done.
Last stool shows how long it's been, and in the evening, on a day with nothing logged, a quick way to log.
Lock Screen and Control Center
Most widgets come in Lock Screen sizes too: a ring for water, your last stool, medicines or a quick log button. On iOS 18 or later, Control Center and the Action button get controls to log, add a glass of water, mark a medicine taken, or start the toilet timer.
Private on a shared screen
Turn on Discreet mode and the widgets show numbers instead of stool shapes, leave out symptom names and say "log" instead of "stool".
For someone else
Widgets log for the person chosen at the top of Today, so a parent can keep a widget for a child's diary. See diaries for others.
